Objetivo  general:
Create individual listener’s profiles of interaction with the listening tasks to account for difficulties with L2 materials based on language proficiency

  • Create individual listener’s profiles of interaction with the listening tasks to account for difficulties with L2 materials based on language proficiency
  • Identify and describe the obstacles, at the linguistic level (phonology, syntax & lexical), that interfere with L2 listening comprehension across language proficiencies.
  • Validate a hierarchical taxonomy of obstacles to account for problems at the linguistic level that affect L2 listeners from Chile.
  • Validate a theoretically-and-empirically-based conceptual proposal that establishes the relationship between the identified linguistic obstacles for L2 comprehension and the type of help options that could be offered to effectively assist listeners through the IVT.
