Summary: This project aims at demonstrating how useful a novel can be to teach a foreign language using several theories previously investigated. The course focuses on the analysis of Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye because of how easy it is for students to relate to it. Moreover, this novel offers the opportunity to familiarize students with the post-modern urban adventures.
