Title: Teaching English and values through storytelling 


Summary: The present work describes and explains the potential of storytelling as a good technique in order to teach English to young learners based on the ideas of Jean Brewster, Gail Ellis, Andrew Right and Lynn Cameron. This work consists of two parts. The first part encloses the theory supporting storytelling and also determines the portfolio as the assessment tool to be used. The second part of this work covers a pedagogical proposal which comprises 13 lessons plus a consolidation lesson designed for Fourth year learners of junior level in a private school.
