Title: Reading-writing connection through portfolios 

Summary: This study on the connection between reading and writing is divided into two parts. The first section focuses on exploring the theory that supports the importance of the cooperative connection between reading and writing. This theory is put into practice through a pedagogical proposal that provides language teachers with a non-traditional tool for assessing students’ abilities in a certain period of time.
