Summary: This work connects reading, writing, and portfolios in a very creative fashion. This work discusses the difference between intensive and extensive reading, the reading and writing connection, and the use of portfolios in the EFL classroom. In the pedagogical proposal, students do extensive reading, respond to them through creative writing, and then the writing produced by the students is included in a portfolio.
