Summary: This Study carefully explains concepts related to Paulo Freire’s understanding of pedagogy and connects them with the Theatre of the Oppressed in order to lay the basis for a pedagogical proposal, which is a very innovative workshop. The main objective of this workshop is to lead students to experience the enrichment of social analysis through acting and to challenge their own conceptions regarding society. These goals will be achieved by using theatre of the oppressed training techniques and writing.
