Summary: This project points out the importance of teaching English through music as a way of engaging students in the EFL classroom. The purpose of this project is to develop a 3-month workshop for 11th grade students. Based on the Communicative approach and both a content-based and a skill-based syllabus, students will be working on comprehension, analysis, and evaluation of social issues, as well as on the improvement of the four linguistic skills.
