Title: Girl with a pearl earring: From the painting to our lives


Summary: This study introduces important aspects of how and why teaching literature to junior and senior students. The pedagogical proposal consists of teaching Tracy Chevalier’s novel Girl with a Pearl Earring while focusing on two central topics: growing up and becoming and adult and how relationships can be affected or modified only by gender and social status.
