El departamento de Inglés tendrá el agrado de contar con la presencia del Dr. Paul Gruba de University of Melbourne, Australia. 

Paul Gruba estará desde el día 20 de Septiembre hasta el 1 de Octubre. Pronto tendremos más detalles respecto a esta visita. 

A continuación, una biodata del profesor visitante. 

Dr Paul Gruba is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Languages and Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali in 1983, Paul first taught English in a technical high school in Bamako before taking up a position in academic staff development. After leaving Africa, Paul travelled extensively and took up a position teaching English in Takamatsu, Japan. From 1989, His studies at UCLA focused on the role of digital video media in second language listening assessment. Returning to Japan in 1991, Paul developed language tests at Kanda University of International Studies before moving to Melbourne to work on his doctorate. In 1999, Paul completed a doctorate on the role of video in second language listening. His current research interests focus on computer-mediated communication, new media and assessment, and technologies in second language learning.
